Thai fishing industry for Winrock International and USAID

On a recent assignment I was sent to photograph Burmese migrants who worked at a major fishing harbour in Southern Thailand. Commissioned by Winrock International who implement several programs on behalf of USAID, the work was to illustrate the various sectors that the multi-year Countering Trafficking in Persons (CTIP) program focuses on. The program aims to support local Thai community organisations who assist migrant workers living and working in Thailand in various fields, from fishing to construction.
